Happy Resurrection!
I had so many ideas and thoughts
about this month's article to
celebrate the death, burial &
resurrection of our Lord Jesus.
However, when I sat down at my
computer to type, a friend of
mine sent me an instant
message requesting special
prayer for his family. His
family is in the ministry and
they are literally being
attacked by satan through
various sicknesses and
situations. I was touched. You
could hear the despair in his
request but he quickly
recognized that it was all an
attack from satan and he turned
his despair into a spiritual
anger toward satan. He made the
following statement, I'VE HAD
ENOUGH!
As I read his words on the
computer screen, my spirit was
stirred. Just last night, at
church my dad talked about a
message that God was stirring in
his heart called, "I Can't Stand
It Anymore!" I've had situations
in my life when I told God, I
just couldn't take it anymore!
Satan tries to torment us daily
with problems and the cares of
this life. Sometimes these
constant torments weigh so heavy
on our mind and the first thing
we do is slack on our prayer
life. However, PRAYER is exactly
what we should be doing in these
situations. The devil knows that
if he can keep us from praying;
he's got us. He offers us so
many other temporary solutions
for our problems which leaves us
still tormented in the end.
As I write this article, so many
of my friends, peers and family
members are running through my
mind. I watch us all take more
of the devils fiery darts
everyday and with each passing
day we grow weaker from the
fight. This brings me back to
the death, burial & resurrection
of Jesus. He showed us that we
can overcome. All we have to do
is die out to our own will
(Death), let the devil know we
have had enough and start
praying like never before
(Burial) and Jesus will give us
the power we need to rise above
anything the devil throws our
way (Resurrection)!
I encourage you to strengthen
yourself in these last days by
exercising the power in prayer
like never before. The Bible
says to "pray without ceasing."

You do not have to leave your

to. We just want everyone who
visits the guest book to be able
to take your request to the Lord
in prayer. I know prayer works!
The Bible says "if my people,
which are called by my name,
shall humble themselves, and
pray and seek my face and turn
from their wicked ways: then
will I hear from Heaven, and
forgive their sin, and will heal
their land. WOW! That's a
powerful verse!
