Group Biography

The group Psalm 101 may be new, but not the individuals that comprise this ministry. Bill and Angela Fulkerson have been sharing their 'God-given' talents in churches all over the Unites States and Oversees for many years.

Angela is a 'P.K.' or preacher's kid. All of her life she has served the Lord and the church with her anointed singing, songwriting and musical abilities. She has traveled with her family for many years as they held revivals and camp meetings across the country.  At the age of three, she sang her first song in church. At the age of 11, she wrote her first song and won 1st place at the Talent Search at the 'All Night Gospel Sing' in Bonifay, Florida. In 1987 her father pastured a church in Houston, Texas for about a year and a half. It was there Angela met her future husband, Bill Fulkerson. It was evident that Bill had a great love for God and for playing the guitar. Five years later, Bill and Angela were married and this was truly a marriage made in heaven and ordained by God. Through the years they have developed with much prayer and practice the gifts God had given them into a mighty tool that has encouraged and strengthened many souls wherever they go to minister.

Bill and Angela felt God leading them to step through some doors God had started opening. In 2002, they won 1st place at the Waycross, Georgia Talent Search hosted by Bill Bailey. Psalm 101 received the highest scores ever in the history of the event. They were able to sing on the main stage that night with such artists as the Crabb Family. Gerald Crabb came up to Angela and encouraged her to record a project and get her songs on the radio and that is exactly what she is doing.

In October 2003, Psalm 101 completed their first project and sent their first song to National radio. 'Perfect Love' written by Angela Fulkerson, received wonderful response from radio stations and was added to the play list of several major networks including Solid Gospel. Their second song, 'My Father's House' hit the Singing News top 80 charts in July 2004.

In late 2006, Psalm 101 produced their own CD as an independent artist. This CD, entitled, Worth the Wait, has received rave reviews from everyone. Their first single to radio, He Prays For Me is still in medium & high rotations on Southern Gospel & Christian Country station across the USA & Canada. 

Psalm 101 is not limited to a certain style and this versatility has opened many doors for them. Angela and Bill are dedicated Christians and faithful to their local church and most of all, to the Lord! They are very serious when it comes to their music ministry because they know it is the work God has called them to do. In a concert with Psalm 101 you will hear Angela's powerful lead vocal on most songs with Bill adding his own style to the harmony blend. Bill is also featured vocalist on a few songs with a country flavor. Bill provides quite the instrumentation with his lead guitar playing. Their son, Cameron joins them on a few songs with his harmonica. You will be blessed as this couple shares their testimonies of God's hand in their lives and ministry. You will leave knowing you have been in the presence of God, encouraged, blessed and challenged!

Bill and Angela Fulkerson


Angela Michelle Fulkerson was born on March 19, 1972 in Lakeland, Florida. Born into a ministers home and her parents being a wonderful influence,  Angela had a call on her life at an early age.  Angela sang her first song in church at the age of three and traveled with her family all over the United States evangelizing, pastoring and pioneering new churches. 

 

Angela is an exceptional singer and contributes to the majority of their original material. Angela also serves as overall Office Manager for Psalm 101.  Angela has served as a minister of music for several years.  She has a very powerful testimony, about where God has brought her from and what miracles God has done for her family. Angela favorite group was the original Hinson's with the late

Kenny Hinson being a major influence.  Her favorite song, "Call Me Gone".  She enjoys Mexican food, shopping, gardening and her favorite color is Emerald Green.  She truly enjoys being a wife, mother and is a licensed nurse.  

 

Bill is Angela's husband of fourteen years. Born May 20, 1973 - Houston, Texas. His first love for music came as a toddler with his grandparents on the church pew.  Bill would grab a song book, pretend it was a guitar and act like he was really playing.  His pastor at the time played a mandolin and encouraged Bill to play the guitar.  At the age of 14, Bill started playing guitar in church.  He also took an interest in drums and played drums as well.  His heart is playing the

guitar and over the years, without lessons, God has helped Bill develop his own unique style of lead guitar.  Some of his guitar influences include, Albert Lee, Brent Mason and John Jorgenson. 

 

Bill enjoys taking young musicians and helping them develop their potential.  He has influenced many  young musicians as he travels and plays guitar with Psalm 101.  He is currently working with his own 4 year old son, Cameron to play drums.  Bill also played in the studio on Psalm 101's project, "The Resurrection."  He plays Lead Guitar for Psalm 101 and is the official driver. 

He loves seafood. Enjoys listening to anyone with exceptional talent and live musicians.  Whenever Psalm 101 is not traveling, you can always find Bill hanging out in music stores, listening to guitar CD's or anything to do with guitars.  His favorite singer is Angela Fulkerson and his favorite song is "Mountain" by Angela Fulkerson.  Bill owns and operates his own painting

business.  

 

Cameron Fulkerson

 

This is Mamas Little Bug!  Born August 31, 1999 - Lakeland, Florida. Cameron William Fulkerson "One of Promise." Cameron started showing interest in playing the drums at the age of 1. He made his first drum set with momma's pots and pans at age 2. He got his first real set of drums at age 3 and made his first "stage appearance" playing the drums. He also made his singing debut in church at age 3, singing "Jesus Loves The Little Children." Cameron recently has picked up an interest in the harmonica and has been playing at several concerts. 

 

His primary job is overall Road Manager and decides when and where Psalm 101 stops to eat. He does an excellent job in helping

set-up the product table for all of our performances. Other than music, Cameron loves TRAINS!  He can often be  found riding his bike and spending time at Granny's house. His favorite food is Chocolate Milk and Breakfast Bars. He loves the color Blue. His favorite group is Psalm 101 and his favorite singer is his Mommy. Cameron is an All American Boy!  His favorite song is, "He Keeps The Son Shining", by Psalm 101.
