We searched that book of baby names til one just sounded right

Then practiced how we say it when we’d tuck you in at night

Now I pick you up and hold you and the dream’s reality

I think you look just like your Mom she says you look like me

Now we finally put a face with a name

When I looked at you my whole life changed

There’s a love between us flowin through our veins

And we finally put a face with a name.

I got a call from Mom last night I could tell she’d been cryin

She said Dad’s barely hangin on just to see you one last time

We’s always been so close I wondered how we’d make it through

Then I looked down at my little boy and suddenly I knew

It’s times like these I realize there’s a bigger plan

And there’s a place where tears will never fall again

Where we can spend Eternity with every name found in His book

If we believe He’s the only way and remember what it took

We can finally put a face with a name

We’ll all rejoice and hear the Angels sing
